Reading Recommendations:

An excellent webnovel written with care that'll get you swept up into its world and into the lives of its characters. There's also a print edition of the first volume if you're like me and have trouble reading on screens!

Description from the site:

"Beloved Chronicles is a literary romantic webnovel series about the many lifetimes of a pair of reincarnating lovers and their millennia long drama bound to the gods of their world. Inspired by classic literature, vintage shoujo manga, and Sound Horizon, and with a particular focus on representing fat, autistic, and queer characters, Beloved Chronicles seeks to share sentimental and lyrical stories for those often excluded from such things."

The Impavidus Cycle

A compelling dark fantasy series written in a more heartfelt and character-driven way than most. If you like found family stories and series like Berserk, you'll definitely love this one!

Description from the site:

"From Book 1: When a young daemon becomes host to his father, the eons-old progenitor of his kind, it seems his only purpose is to kill and kill again, to build a new world fit for the dark to rule. Unseen by humans, the world has long been controlled by the strings of a shadowy secret society of immortal beings, the Order of Azoth. As the organization fractures and begins to unravel, he may be the last hope of the Order to quell the spread of corruption and change the path of the future. Just as they may be his only hope to discover his own humanity."

An all-around well crafted webcomic with a compelling narrative and characters that become more complex over the course of the series. This one has a very late 90s/early 2000s manga feel (in the best way)!

Description from the site:

"Hisaki and Yasha are an odd pair of friends: Hisaki is quiet, distant, and possibly keeping secrets from everyone, while Yasha is loud, violent, and in serious need of anger management. As they try to deal with each other, they soon find that creatures are after them for something they know nothing about: a demon supposedly hiding within one of them."
